5. The term of office of members of the council, vacation of office, disclosure of members’ interests and casual vacancies are covered in sections 173–176 of the Education Act 1989.

6. Subject to section 173 of the Act, the maximum term of any member, other than the chief executive officer, shall be 3 consecutive 4-year terms.

7. The term of office of members appointed under clause 3 (l) shall be for 1 year.

8. The UNITEC Institute of Technology Council shall have the power from time to time to add or delete organisations from the First, Second and Third Schedules.

9. The notice constituting the council of Carrington Polytechnic and appearing in the New Zealand Gazette*, No. 176 on 11 October 1990 at pages 3802 and 3803, is hereby revoked.

The centre has relocated.

Supplementary Integration Agreement
