In the matter of the Companies Act 1993, and in the matter of Fletcher Challenge Petroleum Asia Exploration Limited, Fletcher Challenge Energy Holdings Limited, Fletcher Challenge Energy New Zealand Limited, Petrocorp Exploration (Thailand) Limited, Bluff Oil NL Limited, Petrocorp Exploration Drilling Services Limited, Guineaweal Enterprises Limited, Menelaus Developments Limited, Southern Petroleum (Mohaka) Limited, Payzone Exploration Limited, Petrocorp Offshore (No. 12) Limited and Petrocorp Exploration (Taranaki) Limited:

Pursuant to section 241 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1993 and subsequent to the directors having resolved that each of the above-named companies would, on the appointment of a liquidator, be able to pay its debts, Leonard Smith, business consultant of Pakuranga, was appointed liquidator of the above companies by a special resolution on 8 November 1996, by means of an entry in the minute book of the company, pursuant to the provisions of section 122 of the Companies Act 1993.

Notice is further given that the undersigned, the liquidator of the above-named companies, which are being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 24th day of January 1997, as the day on or before which the creditors of the companies are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority, under section 312 of the Companies Act 1993, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.
