Amending a Notice Acquiring Land for Road—State Highway No. 2 Butchers Creek—Dannevirke District

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Crown Property Officer, Land Information New Zealand, Napier, hereby amends the notice dated the 10th day of September 1996, published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 19th day of September 1996, No. 122, page 3084, under the heading “Land Acquired for Road—State Highway No. 2 Butchers Creek—Dannevirke District” by deleting the words “Land Acquired for Road” in the heading and substituting “Land Acquired for a Limited Access Road” and also deleting the recital and substituting the following:

“Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Crown Property Officer, Land Information New Zealand, Napier, declares that the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for limited access road and has become road, limited access road and State highway and vested in the Crown.”

Land in Hamilton City Acquired for Road and for Local Purpose Reserve (Segregation)

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Lands declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for local purpose reserve (segregation) subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and further declares that the land in both the said Schedules shall vest in The Hamilton City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
