Change of Classification and Vesting of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, West Coast Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for recreation purposes to a local purpose (public utility) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, vests the reserve in trust in The Westland District Council for the purposes specified.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
Pursuant to sections 338 (1) and 340 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as Maori reservation for the purpose of a timber reserve, and as a place of cultural, historical and scenic interest for the common use and benefit of the people of New Zealand.

Declaring Maori Freehold Land to be Included in a Maori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 (2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be included in the existing Maori reservation known as Horowhenua XIB41A, Sub 3, constituted by notice dated 25 July 1974 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 75, on 1 August 1974, page 1618, along with the land known as part Horowhenua XIB41X, constituted by New Zealand Gazette notice No. 33, on 20 April 1978, page 1154.
