Declaring Land Acquired for State Highway at East Taieri in the City of Dunedin

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and shale, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, form part of State Highway No. 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the 24th day of October 1996.

Otago Land District—Dunedin City

1.0686 hectares being Lot 1, D.P. 10738. All certificate of title No. 1C/863 (Otago Registry).

Amending a Notice Declaring Land Acquired and Land Set Apart for a Reserve in the City of Dunedin

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Crown Property Services, Land Information New Zealand, Dunedin, hereby amends the notice dated the 30th day of September 1996 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 October 1996, No. 139, page 3360, declaring land acquired and land to be set apart for a reserve in the City of Dunedin by omitting from the area twenty-thirdly described in the Second Schedule reference to the area “marked ‘D’” on S.O. Plan 24333’ and replacing it with the area “marked ‘M’” on S.O. Plan 24333’.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in relation only to the piece of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
