Conservation Act 1987

Amendment to a Notice for the Authorisation of the Exchange of a Marginal Strip for Other Land

Pursuant to section 50A of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy, hereby amends an error in the notice dated the 20th day of June 1996, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 63, page 1587, by deleting the following item from the First Schedule of the notice “4535 square metres” and replacing in its place the following “4530 square metres”.

Reserves Act 1977

Amendment to a Notice Revoking the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby amends a notice revoking the reservation over a recreation reserve dated on the 12th day of July 1996 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 78 of 1 August 1996, page 2027, by inserting the following words after “in the Schedule hereto”:

“... and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Hamilton City Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine”.

Amendment of Notice

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury, hereby amends the notice effecting the classification of a reserve, dated 18 September 1996, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 106, page 2755, by deleting from the notice the reference “scenic reserve” and substituting in its place “scientific reserve”.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a site for a post office over the land, described in the Schedule hereto.

Taranaki Land District—Ruapehu District

927 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 12919, situated in Block XVI, Aria Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1912, page 36.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Queenstown Lakes District Council on the 30th day of August 1996:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Queenstown Lakes District Council, hereby resolves that the piece of land vested in the said district council and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (cemetery) reserve within the meaning of the said Act.

6070 square metres, more or less, being part Section 10, Block XIX, Town of Arrowtown. Certificate of title 43/278.

Cancellation of Vesting of Control of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, cancels the vesting in The Queenstown-Lakes District Council of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto.
