Land Vested in Landcorp Investments Limited

Pursuant to section 24 (1) of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986, and to an authorisation dated 26 April 1995 from the Ministers of Finance and State-Owned Enterprises, the National Regulatory Manager, Land Information New Zealand, hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

Title—This notice may be cited as the Landcorp Investments Limited Vesting Notice 1996 No. 12.
Application—(1) This notice applies to all the land described in the Schedule to this notice, saving and excepting:

(a) The bed of any lake whose bed has an area of 8 hectares or more.

(b) The bed of any river whose bed has an average width of 3 metres or more.

(2) In subclause (1) of this clause, the terms “bed”, “lake”, and “river” have the meanings assigned to them by section 2 (1) of the Resource Management Act 1991.

Vesting—Subject to section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, the land to which this notice applies shall vest for an estate in fee simple in Landcorp Investments Limited (a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1955, having its registered office at Wellington and being a State enterprise within the meaning of section 29 (1) of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986) on the 10th day of October 1996.

(i) Together with the appurtenant rights (if any) described in the Schedule to this notice, but

(ii) Subject to the rights, interests and encumbrances (if any), to which it is described in the Schedule to this notice as being subject.

5.1700 ha	Section 1, S.O. Plan 19548, situated in Blocks III and VII, Pareora Survey District, subject to Gazette K 944926 (Canterbury Registry), declaring part of State Highway No. 8 (Timaru to Milton via Cromwell) to be a limited access road, and subject to deed of easement of right of way 42C/35 (Canterbury Registry).
