Crown Minerals Act 1991

Notification of Issue of the Minerals Programme for Coal and the Minerals Programme for Minerals Other Than Coal and Petroleum

Pursuant to section 19 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, I hereby give notice that the Governor-General by Orders in Council dated 23 September 1996 has issued the Minerals Programme for Coal and the Minerals Programme for Minerals other than coal and petroleum, with the programmes to take effect from 1 October 1996.

The Minerals Programmes establish the policies, procedures and provisions to be applied in respect of the management of Crown-owned coal, metallic and non-metallic minerals and industrial rocks and building stones.

The Minerals Programmes may be inspected during normal business hours at:

Forfeiture of Mining Privilege
