Fire Service Act 1975

Palmerston North Fire Districts Notice, February 1996

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as the Palmerston North Fire Districts Notice, February 1996.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 20th day of February 1996.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices for the districts listed in the Schedule.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Wanganui Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Mount Huia Scenic Reserve.

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Hawke’s Bay Conservancy, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Napier City Council on the 20th day of September 1995:

That in exercise of powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Napier City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the city in fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (passive recreation) reserve within the meaning of the said Act.

5. The boundaries of the constituted fire districts are defined and delineated on plans held at the national office of the New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Manager (Protection), Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve
