District Court Judge Appointed

Pursuant to sections 5 and 28B of the District Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, has been pleased to appoint

Simon Grant Lockhart, Queen’s Counsel of Auckland

to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part IIA of the District Courts Act 1947.

Civil Aviation Act 1990

Notice of Amendment of an International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87Q (4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport, dated 28 August 1996, I give notice that, having received an application from Garuda Indonesia, I have amended the International Air Service Licence held by that airline to increase its capacity entitlement between Indonesia and Auckland from up to 2 DC-10 return services per week, to up to 3 MD-11 return services per week, with effect from 29 October 1996.
