(ii) The vehicle’s driver must not use any handheld weedspraying equipment while the vehicle is in motion;

(iii) The vehicle must be trailered to and from all its weedspraying work areas;

(iv) The vehicle must be governed to and not capable of speeds greater than 20 km/h;

(v) The vehicle must be fitted with an amber flashing or revolving light which is clearly visible from all directions and is activated whenever the vehicle is involved in weedspraying operations;

(vi) The vehicle must not be used during the hours of darkness or at any other time when there is insufficient daylight to render it clearly visible, to a pedestrian or another vehicle’s driver, at a distance of 100 metres.

(vii) The vehicle owner and/or the vehicle must comply with any other conditions relating to health and safety aspects of the weedspraying operation, specified by the road controlling authority on whose road the vehicle is operating;

(viii) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicle at all times and be readily available for inspection by Police or an officer of the LTSA;

(ix) The vehicle manufacturer’s genuine replacement parts must be used to repair the vehicle, which must be maintained in a safe operating condition;

(x) This exemption may be revoked at any time by the LTSA;

Pursuant to section 48 (2) (e) of the Transport (Vehicle and Driver Registration and Licensing) Act 1986, and under powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety in an instrument of delegation dated the 13th day of May 1996, I, Jennifer Gail McElroy, Manager Compliance Safer People and Operators, hereby approve the hazardous substances courses to be run by the following organisation for the purposes of section 70H (1) (a) of the Transport Act 1962:
