Pursuant to section 52(4) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, at the request of The Christchurch City Council, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by that council for recreation purposes to be set apart for housing purposes.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in The Christchurch City Council on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.
