Commissions of Inquiry Act 1908
Further Extending the Time Within Which Commission of Inquiry into Certain Matters Relating to Taxation May Report

ORDER IN COUNCIL
To all to whom these presents shall come, and to:
The Right Honourable Sir RONALD KEITH DAVISON, G.B.E., C.M.G. of Auckland, formerly Chief Justice of New Zealand:
GREETING:
Whereas, by an Order in Council made on the 12th day of September 1994*, you, The Right Honourable Sir Ronald Keith Davison, were appointed to be a Commission to inquire into and report upon certain matters relating to taxation:
And whereas, by the said Order in Council, you were required to submit your report not later than the 31st day of March 1995:
And whereas, by an Order in Council made on the 27th day of March 1995†, the time within which you were so required to submit your report was extended until the 30th day of September 1995:
And whereas it is expedient that the time for so reporting should be further extended as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1908, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby extend until the 31st day of March 1996 the time within which you, The Right Honourable Sir Ronald Keith Davison, are so required to report, without prejudice to the continuation of the liberty conferred upon you by the said Order in Council made on the 12th day of September 1994 to report your proceedings and recommendations from time to time if you should judge it expedient so to do, and hereby confirm the said Order in Council made on the 12th day of September 1994 and the Commission thereby constituted, save as modified by these presents.
Given in Executive Council under the hand of Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, this 11th day of September 1995.

Officers in the Wellington Regional Council Authorised to Take Statutory Declarations
Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, I hereby authorise the holders for the time being of the offices in the service of the local authority specified in the Schedule below to take statutory declarations under the said Act, and I hereby revoke all such authorisations that, before the date of this notice, were held by officers in the service of the local authority in The Wellington Regional Council.
