Civil Aviation Rules

This is a statement of intention to publish rules in the following CAR Part—

Part 63—Flight Engineer Licences and Ratings

  • pursuant to section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990. The submission time for the proposed part is indicated in the NPRM and is not less than 30 days.

Copies of the Notice of Proposed Rule Making are available for viewing at: Aviation House, 1 Market Grove, Lower Hutt and on application to: The Docket Clerk, P.O. Box 31-441, Lower Hutt 6315.

Education and Training Support Agency

Industry Training Act 1992

New Zealand Horticulture Industry Training Organisation Incorporated

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 21st day of August 1995, the New Zealand Horticulture Industry Training Organisation Incorporated, was granted full recognition to extend its coverage as an Industry Training Organisation for the Floristry Industry.

It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework for the Floristry Industry, Levels 1–8.

The ITO shall be required to consult with other interested organisations over the setting of skill standards.

Dated at Wellington this 25th day of August 1995.

Film and Electronic Media Industry Training Organisation Incorporated

The Board of the Education and Training Support Agency, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, hereby gives notice that on Monday, the 21st day of August 1995, the Film and Electronic Media Industry Training Organisation Incorporated, was granted full recognition as an Industry Training Organisation for the Film and Electronic Media Industry.

It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework for the Film and Electronic Media Industry, Levels 1–8.

Securities Amendment Act 1988

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1995

(No. 5)

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1995 (No. 5).

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  1. Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires—

“the Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988;

“the Exchange” means New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange Limited.

(2) Any term or expression that is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act, has the meaning given to it by the Act.

  1. J.B. Were Futures Pty Limited authorised to carry on business of dealing in futures contracts—(1) J.B. Were Futures Pty Limited is hereby authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts generally.

(2) The authorisation referred to in subclause (1) of this clause is subject to the condition that J.B. Were Futures Pty Limited:

(a) is public broker within the meaning of the rules of the Exchange; and

(b) is bound by the rules of the Exchange; and

that the authorisation applies in respect of futures contracts made on or effected through the Exchange or a futures exchange in a country other than New Zealand which is authorised by the laws of that country to operate as a futures exchange.

(3) The authorisation granted by subclause (1) of this clause shall continue in force until it is revoked by the Commission.
