Reservation of Land

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.

Hawke’s Bay Land District—Napier City

5.1312 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 0532, situated in Blocks VII and VIII, Heretaunga Survey District. All New Zealand Gazette, 1994, page 3092.

Reserves Act 1977

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Rodney District Council and Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby cancels the vesting in The Rodney District Council and revokes the reservation over the drainage reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as local purpose (road) reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Auckland City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used or applied in and towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Cancellation of the Vesting in The New Plymouth District Council and Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Wanganui, Department of Conservation hereby cancels the vesting in The New Plymouth District Council and revokes the reservation as a local purpose (marae) reserve over the reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scientific reserve, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as Every’s Scientific Reserve.

Prohibition of Access other than by Permit to a Scientific Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy hereby prohibits access other than by permit to be issued by the Regional Conservator to Every’s Scientific Reserve described in the Schedule hereto.
