Aupouri-Karikari Rural Fire District Notice 1995

Pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.

N o t i c e

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Aupouri-Karikari Rural Fire District Notice 1995.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of March 1995.

  1. In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires:

the “Act” means the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977;
the “committee” means the Aupouri-Karikari Rural Fire Committee; and
the “district” means the Aupouri-Karikari Rural Fire District.

Constitution of the Aupouri-Karikari Rural Fire District

  1. The areas specified in the Schedule to this notice are hereby constituted and declared to be a rural fire district to be known as the Aupouri-Karikari Rural Fire District.

  2. The Aupouri-Karikari Rural Fire District shall be administered for the purpose of the Act by a rural fire committee known as the Aupouri-Karikari Rural Fire Committee.

  3. The committee shall consist of eight members as follows:

(1) One person appointed, in writing, by Rayonier New Zealand Limited, signed on behalf of that company by one director and the secretary thereof; and

(2) Two persons appointed, in writing, by Juken Nissho Limited, signed on behalf of that company by one director and the secretary thereof; and

(3) One person appointed, in writing, by Carter Holt Harvey Forest Limited, signed on behalf of that company by one director and the secretary thereof; and

(4) Two persons appointed, in writing, by the Far North District Council; and

(5) One person appointed, in writing, by the Director-General of the Department of Conservation; and

(6) One person appointed, in writing, by the Secretary of Forestry of the Ministry of Forestry.

Schedule

North Auckland Land District—Far North District—Aupouri-Karikari Rural Fire District

All those parcels containing 81 500 hectares, more or less, as shown on S.O. Plan 67427, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland and as the same on those plans numbered NRFA 114 deposited in the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service at Wellington.

New Zealand Timberlands Rural Fire District Notice 1992, Amendment No. 4

Pursuant to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.

N o t i c e

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the New Zealand Timberlands Rural Fire District Notice 1992, Amendment No. 4 and shall be read with and deemed part of the notice constituting the New Zealand Timberlands Rural Fire District made on the 28th day of February 1992 (a) (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of March 1995.

  1. Amendment of Rural Fire District—(1) The principal notice is hereby amended by revoking clause 4 of the Schedule.

(2) This clause shall be read together and be deemed part of the principal notice.
