Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of Reservation

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Whangarei District Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves purposes.
