Notice of Final Decision as to Assignment of Place Names
Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 15 of the New Zealand Geographic Board Act 1946 of the final decision of the New Zealand Geographic Board to assign the names stated in the first column of the Schedule below to the places described in the second column of the said Schedule and that such decisions shall take effect on 8 June 1995.

Moetapu Bay | Infomap 260 P27 GR 815941 a bay on the southern side of Pelorus Sound. Spelling change from Moetapu Bay.

Apricot Flat | Infomap 260 H37 GR 565934 a river flat north of the junction of Elcho Stream and the Hopkins River.
Back Bush Stream | Infomap 260 H37 GR 725015 a tributary of Bush Stream with headwaters near Mount Dark.
Boltons Gully Stream | Infomap 260 H37 GR 863826 a stream whose source is near Landship Creek and closest to Mary Burn. Flows into Lake Pukaki.
Lagoon Basin | Infomap 260 H37 GR 748028 a alpine basin with tarns between Mount Brown and Round Hill.
Mephistopheles | Infomap 260 M32 GR 625584 a peak (1736 m) on the Liebigto Range 1 km north of Faust (1710 m).
Mount Glen Lyon | Infomap 260 H37 GR 585804 a prominent peak (2050 m) at the southern end of the Neumann Range.
Paradise Creek | Infomap 260 H37 GR 548854 a tributary of the Huxley River near its junction with the Hopkins River.
Red Slip | Infomap 260 H37 GR 766000 a prominent slip in a southern gully of Bush Stream.
Rocky Knob | Infomap 260 H37 GR 759069 a prominent hill 1280 m between Birch Hill Stream and Elbow Stream.
S Bend Creek | Infomap 260 H37 GR 585963 a tributary of the Hopkins River, the stream headwaters are near an unnamed peak of 2252 m.
Scotts Slip | Infomap 260 H37 GR 763957 a large slip on the northern side of Twin Stream.
Slip Stream | Infomap 260 H37 GR 795966 a tributary of the Tasman River approximately 1 km north of Glentanner Station.
Tasman Lake | Infomap 260 H36 GR 628193 a large melt lake at the base of the Tasman Glacier.
Thar Creek | Infomap 260 H37 GR 552898 a tributary approximately 2½ km long, on the west side of the Hopkins River.
The Devils Rampart | Infomap 260 M32 GR 510576 a peak (1740 m) between Nina River and Devlskin Stream, 1 km west of Devilskin Saddle.
