Privacy Act Code of Practice Notice 1995/1

Pursuant to section 49 of the Privacy Act 1993, I give notice as follows:

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Privacy Act Code of Practice Notice 1995/1.

  2. The Health Information Privacy Code 1994 Amendment No. 2:

    (a) was issued on 26 June 1995; and

    (b) will come into force on 30 July 1995.

  3. Copies of the amendment are available free of charge from the offices of the Privacy Commissioner, 20 Waterloo Quadrant, Auckland and 44–52 The Terrace, Wellington.

  4. Copies of the amendment are also available from Bennetts Government Bookshops.

Securities Amendment Act 1988

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1995 (No. 3)

Pursuant to the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

I. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1995 (No. 3).

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

II. Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires:

“the Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988.

(2) Any term or expression that is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act, has the meaning given to it by the Act.

III. Electricity Corporation of New Zealand Limited

authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts—(1) Electricity Corporation of New Zealand Limited is authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts of a specified class, namely, electricity price hedge contracts issued by Electricity Corporation of New Zealand Limited in relation to agreements for the supply of electricity in respect of which Electricity Corporation of New Zealand Limited is the supplier and generator of electricity.

(2) The authorisation granted by subclause (1) of this clause shall continue in force until it is revoked by the Commission.

Conservation

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Manukau City Council on the 15th day of December 1994:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Manukau City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the council in fee simple and described in the First Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a recreation reserve, and further, that the piece of land held by the council in fee simple and described in the Second Schedule shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a local purpose (community buildings) reserve”.
