Casino Control Authority Levy

Pursuant to section 76 (4) of the Casino Control Act 1990, the Casino Control Authority specifies the amount of the levies to be paid under section 76 of the Act for the financial year 1 July 1995 to 30 June 1996, being the amount approved by the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Minister of Finance under section 76 (3), to be $3,304,000 (G.S.T. exclusive), as follows:

North Island—Initial Casino Premises Licence:

$2,271,000 (G.S.T. exclusive).

South Island—Initial Casino Premises Licence:

$1,033,000 (G.S.T. exclusive).

Fish Levy Regulations 1976

Fixing a Levy for Monitoring Programmes and Other Activites Related to Marine Biotoxins

Pursuant to the Fishing Industry Board Act 1963 and Fish Levy Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 4, a notice is hereby given by the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board that levy of the amounts specified below for Monitoring Programmes and other activities related to Marine Biotoxins for the 12 months ending with the close of the 30th day of June 1995, and is payable to the New Zealand Fishing Industry Board by every person who on 30 June 1995 was the holder of any lease, licence, permit or special permit of any of the types specified below being persons authorised to farm or take species of specified fish below.

Specified Types of Lease, Licence, Permit or Special Permit

The specified types of lease, licence, permit or special permit are:

marine farming lease granted under section 8 of the Marine Farming Act 1971; and

marine farming licence granted under section 8 of the Marine Farming Act 1971; and

marine farming permit issued under section 67I of the Fisheries Act 1983; and

spat catching permit issued under section 67Q of the Fisheries Act 1983; and

fishing permit issued under section 63 of the Fisheries Act 1983; and

special permit issued under section 64 of the Fisheries Act 1983.

Specified Species and Amount of Levy

The specified species and amount of levy inclusive of G.S.T. for each species are:
