Fire Service Act 1975

Northland Fire Districts Notice 1995

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Northland Fire Districts Notice 1995.
This notice shall come into force on the 5th day of June 1995.
This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices for the districts listed in the Schedule.

Constitution of Fire Districts

The urban areas listed in the Schedule are hereby constituted as fire districts.
The boundaries of the constituted fire districts as listed are defined and delineated on plans held at the national office of the New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Conservation

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land, hereby jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Otago Land District—Central Otago and Waitaki Districts

3988.34 hectares, more or less, being Sections 1 to 4, S.O. 24042, Blocks XII and XIII, St Bathans Survey District; Block XII, Gala Survey District; Hawkduin Survey District and Turnagain Survey District. Document No. 856320/9 and 856320/10.

Exchange of Land

Pursuant to the section 16A of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator of the Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby authorises the exchange of the stewardship area, described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule.

Hawke’s Bay Land District—Hastings District

First Schedule

25.3317 hectares, more or less, being Section 8, S.O. Plan 5594, situated in Block XI, Kuripapango Survey District. All C.T. V1/192.

Second Schedule

1418 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 1, D.P. 4425, situated in Blocks V, VI, IX and X, Ngaruroro Survey District and shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 10568. Part C.T. K1/719.

697 hectares, more or less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 4425, situated in Blocks II, V and VI, Ngaruroro Survey District and shown marked “B” on S.O. Plan 10568. Part C.T. K1/718.
