Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Recreation Reserve in Rotorua District

Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, is hereby acquired and shall vest in The Rotorua District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, to hold and administer and expend money thereon as and for recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and to the terms and conditions expressed or implied in a memorandum of agreement dated the 31st day of May 1983, made between the Crown and The Rotorua District Council and varied by a memorandum of variation dated the 17th day of July 1984, and held in the office of The Rotorua District Council at Rotorua.

First Schedule

South Auckland Land District

4057 square metres, being Section 46 and part Section 3, Block I, Tarawera Survey District. All certificate of title No. 14A/142, subject to lease S. 552800, mortgage S. 601192 of lease S. 552800, and to caveat B. 215928.

Second Schedule

As shown marked as above mentioned on S.O. Plan 59668, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road, Block VIII, Mangamuka and Block V, Omapere Survey District in Far North District

Pursuant to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by The Far North District Council, pursuant to the said section 323, and on publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

8546 square metres, more or less, being unformed legal road adjoining Section 3A, Block VIII, Mangamuka Survey District, part Te Toke A and B Blocks and part Waihaha No. 2 Block; shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 410444, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Wahamarangai Block; shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 67292, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

2538 square metres, more or less, being unformed legal road adjoining part Te Toke B Block and part Wahamarangai Block; shown marked “B” on S.O. Plan 67292, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Land Acquired for Road (State Highway 1F) in Far North District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway 1F and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for a state primary school and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired for Flood Protection Works in North Shore City

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Auckland, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for flood protection works and shall vest in The North Shore City Council on the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
