1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1995, No. 10.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in relation only to the piece of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.

3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Held for Prison in Otorohanga District Set Apart for Justice Purposes

Pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton, declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, subject as to the land firstly described to a pipeline easement created by transfer H. 766479, South Auckland Land Registry, to be set apart for justice purposes.

Road Realignment in Waipa District

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager, Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Waipa District Council.

(b) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be taken and that area “G”, now known as Section 2, S.O. 59271, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 27C/1310, subject to memorandum of mortgage H. 922159.1, South Auckland Land Registry.

Road Realignment in Rotorua District

Pursuant to Parts II and VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for better utilisation and shall vest in The Rotorua District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be road and vested in The Rotorua District Council.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the pieces of road described in the Third Schedule hereto to be stopped and that:

(i) Area “D”, now known as Section 1, S.O. 59813, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 27C/1057, subject to memorandum of mortgage B. 225623.2, South Auckland Land Registry.

(ii) Area “C”, now known as Section 2, S.O. 59813, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 44B/688, subject to memorandum of mortgage H. 940203.3, South Auckland Land Registry.

(iii) Area “K”, now known as Section 3, S.O. 59813, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 38A/552, subject to memorandum of mortgage H. 420305.2, South Auckland Land Registry.
