Conservator, Otago Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for local purpose (site for municipal buildings) over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the said land may be leased or sold by The Central Otago District Council on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine.

Amendment to a Notice Classifying a Reserve

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby amends the notice dated 6 April 1995, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 36, page 1004, by deleting from the Schedule the words “North Shore District” and adding at the same place the words “North Shore City”.

Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area of Land in the Taranaki Land District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Dame Catherine Anne Tizard, G.C.M.G., D.B.E., the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 28th day of November 1967 and published on the 7th day of December 1967, in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 80 at page 2205, declaring an area of land to be a Wildlife Refuge.

Given under the hand of Her Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of April 1995.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground, to be known as Tapikitu Wahi Tapu for the common use and benefit of Ngati Kaharaw and Ngati Hau Whanui.
