Declaration That Land is Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The North Shore City Council on the 16th day of May 1994:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The North Shore City Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the said city in fee simple and described in the First Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same are hereby declared to be, recreation reserves within the meaning of the said Act, and further, that the piece of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, a local purpose (community buildings) reserve within the meaning of the said Act.”

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Maori Development hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1995, No. 5.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto, is in relation only to the piece of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
