Barry John Ryan, of Auckland, was sent a letter of censure.

Malcolm Walter Gainsford, of Christchurch, was sent a letter of censure.

James Heywood Hampson, of Rotorua, had his registration suspended for 3 months.

Robert James Ackerley, of Hastings, had his registration suspended for 6 months.

Roy Sebastian Robinson, of Gisborne, had his registration restricted for 6 months so that when he carried out the installation of fixed wiring (including any fittings connected to that wiring) on an electrical installation (other than the installation of meters and associated load control equipment of mains), he could not connect the fittings that had been worked on until the work had been certified by another person authorised to do so. He was also restricted to working for an approved employer.

Russell David McLean, of Invercargill, had his registration suspended until he completed an electrical inspector’s tuition course, and passed the electrical inspector’s theory examination, and the electrical inspector’s practical assessment.

Ronald William Butcher, of Christchurch, had his registration suspended for 3 months.

Notice of Intention to Seek Public Comment for Electrical Codes of Practice

Take notice that I, Peter John Morfee, Chief Electrical Inspector, issue the following drafts of amended New Zealand Electrical Codes of Practice for public comment:

  • NZECP:4 New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Installations Supply by Generating Systems not exceeding Low Voltage;
  • NZECP:5 New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Installations Cold Cathode Discharge Lighting;
  • NZECP:28 New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Selection and Installation of Cables;
  • NZECP:29 New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Installations of Boat Marinas and Pleasure Vessels;
  • NZECP:33 New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Installations of Mineral Insulated Cables and Equipment.

Comments are requested from any interested parties.
Comments should be received at the office below by the 31st day of May 1995.

Copies of the codes may be obtained from the office of the Chief Electrical Inspector, Sixth Floor, Ministry of Commerce Building, 33 Bowen Street, Wellington or P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.

Closure of Roselyn School Notice

Pursuant to section 98 (2) of the Education Act 1964, I hereby declare that Roselyn School, New Plymouth will hereby close on 1 July 1995 and cease to be established on that day.

Education Act 1989

The Tamahere Model Country School (Hamilton) Board of Trustees Election Invalidation Notice

Pursuant to clause 9 (3) (a) of the Sixth Schedule to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby invalidate the election of the parent representatives, which closed on 31 March 1995, for the Board of Trustees of Tamahere Model Country School.

This action is being taken because some of the election procedures were carried out later than required and the distribution of some voting papers was irregular.

The poll for a new election for parent representatives shall close on 24 May 1995.

This notice shall take effect the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
