Securities Amendment Act 1988
The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1995
Pursuant to the Securities Amendment Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.
Notice
I. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice 1995.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
II. Interpretation—(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires:
“the Act” means the Securities Amendment Act 1988.
“the Exchange” means New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange Limited.
(2) Any term or expression that is not defined in this notice, but that is defined in the Act, has the meaning given to it by the Act.
III. Midland Bank Plc authorised to carry on business of dealing in futures contracts—(1) Midland Bank Plc is authorised to carry on the business of dealing in futures contracts made on or effected through:
(a) an authorised futures exchange; or
(b) a futures exchange in a country other than New Zealand which is authorised by the laws of that country to operate as a futures exchange.
(2) The authorisation of Midland Bank Plc referred to in subclause (1) of this clause is subject to the condition that Midland Bank Plc:
(a) is a public broker within the meaning of the Rules of the Exchange; and
(b) has undertaken to the Commission to be bound by the Rules of the Exchange.
(3) The authorisation granted by subclause (1) of this clause shall continue in force and it is revoked by the Commission.

Conservation
Reserves Act 1977
Classification of Naming of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, declares the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Nicholson Scenic Reserve.

4046 square metres, more or less, being Section 7, Block VIII, Village of Mamaku, situated in Block XIV, Rotorua Survey District. (S.O. Plan 11240). All certificate of title C.T. 29D/292. Recorded on NZMS 261 U15, Mamaku Townsheet U15/10.20.

Change in Classification and Vesting of Part of a Reserve in the Kaikoura District Council
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977 and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Nelson/Marlborough Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from recreation reserve, to local purpose (aerodrome) reserve and further vests the said reserve in The Kaikoura District Council, in trust, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Parts of a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Regional Conservator, Auckland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation over those parts of the recreation reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Manukau City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such monies to be used and applied in and towards the improvements of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
