Reserves Act 1977

Classification and Vesting of a Reserve

Local Purpose (Public Hall Site) Reserve, Manawahe

Pursuant to sections 24 and 26 of the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a local purpose (public hall site) reserve and vests the said reserve in The Whakatane District Council, in trust for that purpose.

1.7714 hectares, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 59270, (formerly part Section 3A), situated in Block VIII, Rotoma Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1952, page 1521.

Reclassification of Part of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, from a recreation reserve to a local purpose reserve (playcentre), subject to the provisions of the said Act.

938 square metres, more or less, being part Section 111, Normandale Settlement, situated in Block VIII, Belmont Survey District, more particularly shown as “A” on S.O. Plan 37369, part Gazette notice 719938.1.

Revocation of Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Wellington Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (plantation) reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Porirua City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or toward the purchase of other land for reserves.

Wellington Land District—Porirua City

3097 square metres, more or less, being Lots 6, 7 and 8, D.P. 33985, situated in Block II, Belmont Survey District.

Amendment of Notice

Pursuant to section 6 (3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Department of Conservation, Wellington, hereby amends the notice Classification and Vesting of Reserve published in New Zealand Gazette, 2 February 1995, No. 8, page 324 by deleting from the Schedule the words “All Gazette Notice B. 408085.1” and substituting in its place the words “All Gazette Notice B. 412212.1”.

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (recreation) reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Whangarei District Council at current market value. The proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, and such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of recreational facilities on the local purpose (recreation) reserve described as Lot 8, Deposited Plan 150833.

935 square metres, more or less, being Lot 13, Deposited Plan 108552, situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District.
