Approval of Code of Ethical Conduct Notice (No. 5402 100/A1/07)
Pursuant to section 19A (6) of the Animals Protection Act 1960, I hereby give notice that on the advice of the National Animal Ethics Advisory Committee, I have approved, on the date of this notice, the code of ethical conduct submitted to me by NIWA.

Pursuant to section 12 of the Veterinarians Act 1994, the Veterinary Council of New Zealand hereby gives the following notice:

The Veterinary Council of New Zealand declares that the following university and degree in veterinary science conferred by the university, shall be recognised for the purposes of section 9 of the Veterinarians Act 1994:
State University of Utrecht, The Netherlands, Dierenarts.

Electricity Act 1992
Notice of Intention to Seek Public Comment for Electrical Codes of Practice
Take notice that I, Peter John Morfee, Chief Electrical Inspector, issue the following drafts of amended New Zealand Electrical Codes of Practice for public comment:
- NZECP:1 New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Installations Caravans and Caravan Parks;
- NZECP:2 New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Installations in Damp Situations;
- NZECP:3 New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Electrical Safety of Fittings and Electrical Appliances;
- NZECP:11 New Zealand Electrical Code of Practice for Inspection and Testing of Low Voltage Electrical Installations for Certification Purposes.
Comments are requested from any interested parties. Comments should be received at the office below by the 30th day of April 1995.
Copies of the codes may be obtained from the office of the Chief Electrical Inspector, Sixth Floor, Ministry of Commerce Building, 33 Bowen Street, Wellington or P.O. Box 1473, Wellington.

Education Act 1989
Establishment of a Board of Trustees for Melville High School and a Board of Trustees for Melville Intermediate School
Pursuant to sections 112 and 114 of the Education Act 1989, and acting under authority delegated to me, I hereby declare that the combined Board of Trustees of Melville High School and Melville Intermediate School will be split and that a board of trustees for Melville High School and a board of trustees for Melville Intermediate School will be established with effect from 21 April 1995.
I further declare that:
(a) Employees of the combined board who are, immediately before 21 April 1995, employed to work in the Melville High School but not in the Melville Intermediate School, will on 21 April 1995, become employees of the Melville High School Board of Trustees;
(b) Employees of the combined board who are, immediately before 21 April 1995, employed to work in the Melville Intermediate School but not in the Melville High School, will on 21 April 1995, become employees of the Melville Intermediate School Board of Trustees;
(c) Any employee of the combined board who is, immediately before 21 April 1995, employed to work in both the Melville High School and the Melville Intermediate School, will have received written notice under section 114 (b) of the Education Act 1989, specifying the board by which the employee is to become employed on 21 April 1995.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990
Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre
Pursuant to regulation 14 of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1990, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary of Education, I hereby cancel the licence, dated 25 March 1992, which was granted under those regulations to Ramarie Marino in respect of Te Whanau o Hohepa Kohanga Reo at 21 Coldstream Road, Gisborne.
The centre has been closed as from 1 January 1995.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
