Dunedin Fire Districts Notice 1995

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

N o t i c e

1. This notice may be cited as the Dunedin Fire Districts Notice 1995.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 3rd day of April 1995.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous Fire District Notices for the Dunedin Fire District.

Constitution of Fire Districts

4. The urban areas listed in the Schedule are hereby constituted into Fire Districts.

5. The boundaries of the constituted fire districts listed in the Schedule are defined and delineated on plans held at the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953

Proposed Release of Deposit—Consumer Insurance Company Limited

Consumer Insurance Insurance Company Limited (herein called “the company”), has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with the Public Trustee.

The Public Trustee therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act, that being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, he proposes to release to the company on or after 10 April 1995, the amount deposited with him by the company.

Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with the Public Trustee at the Public Trust Office, 117–129 Lambton Quay, Wellington 1, on or before 1 April 1995.

Conservation

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes Together With a Declaration That the Area Become a Reserve, Classification of a Reserve and Vesting of a Reserve in The Waitaki District Council

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is held for conservation purposes, subject to the Conservation Act 1987, and pursuant to section 8 (1A) of the Act, the Minister of Conservation further declares that the conservation area shall hereafter be set apart as a reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and classified as a local purpose (community buildings) reserve and pursuant to section 26 of the Reserves Act 1977, vested in The Waitaki District Council, in trust, for that purpose subject to the provisions of the latter Act.

809 square metres, being Lot 5, D.P. 10670. All conservation area, section 62 of the Conservation Act 1987.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of a Reserve and Naming

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, Janet Margaret Coates, Manager (Protection) of the Auckland Conservancy Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve and further, that the said reserve be known as the Hukanui Reserve.

1.7344 hectares, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. 105055 situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District. All certificate of title 57D/1337. Subject to the Reserves Act 1977.

Subject to:

1. A stormwater drainage easement over part hereof marked “A” on Plan 105055 appurtenant to Lot 1 Plan 105055 (C.T. 57D/1336). See easement certificate B. 473418.1.

2. A foulwater drainage easement over part hereof marked “B” on Plan 105055 appurtenant to Lot 1 Plan 105055. See easement certificate B. 473418.1.
