Amending Notice—Road Deviation at Awapuni Hill—State Highway No. 7

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby amends the notice with the above heading dated the 2nd day of February 1994, published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 10th day of February 1994, No. 11, page 732, by omitting from the second and third lines of paragraph (c) of the declaration the words “and vested in the Crown”.

Road Deviation at Awapuni Hill—State Highway No. 7

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby:

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be road, which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 73 and shall vest in the Crown.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, to be stopped and declares that:

(i) The area marked “A” on S.O. Plan 18528, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 38C/725.

(ii) The area marked “B” on S.O. Plan 18528, shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 5D/388.

(c) Pursuant to sections 117 and 120, declares the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, to be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 5D/388.

(d) Pursuant to sections 119 and 120, declares the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto, to be taken and declares that the area marked “E” shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 38C/725.

(e) Pursuant to sections 119 and 120, declares that:

(i) The land firstly described in the Fifth Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 5D/388.

(ii) The land secondly described in the Fifth Schedule shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 38C/725.
