  1. This is a notice of a product ruling made under section 91F of the Tax Administration Act 1994.

  2. Product ruling No. 95/5 is issued on 25 October 1995. It relates to the tax assessability of benefits and deductibility of premiums under the Low Cost Income Protector Policy Agreed Value issued by Sovereign Assurance Company Limited.

  2. Product ruling No. 95/6 was issued on 26 October 1995. It relates to the “pro rata cancellation” of ordinary shares by Donaghys Limited that results in at least a “fifteen percent capital reduction”.
