Health and Disability Services Act 1993

Appointments to the Public Health Commission

Pursuant to section 30(2) of the Health and Disability Services Act 1993, the following persons are hereby appointed as directors of the Public Health Commission for terms commencing on the 8th day of February 1995 and expiring on the 30th day of June 1995:

Pursuant to clause 2 of the Second Schedule to the Health and Disability Services Act 1993, Dr Karen Olive Poutasi, is hereby appointed as chairperson of the board of the Public Health Commission for a term commencing on the 8th day of February 1995 and expiring on the 30th day of June 1995.

The notices referred to in the Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.

Prohibition on the Prescribing etc of Medicines

Pursuant to section 48 of the Medicines Act 1981, I, Maurice Donald Williamson, Associate Minister of Health, on the recommendation of the Dental Council of New Zealand, HEREBY PROHIBIT the prescribing, administering or supplying of psychotropic medicines including benzodiazepines and anorexiants, by Neil Andrew Dickson, dentist of Auckland.
