Amending a Notice Acquiring Land for the Purposes of a Motorway District of Kapiti Coast

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wellington, hereby amends the notice dated 31 October 1995, acquiring land for the purposes of a motorway, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 2 November 1995, No. 127 at page 4272, by deleting the Schedule and substituting the following:

Road Stopped and Amalgamated Masterton District

Pursuant to sections 116 (1), 117 and 120 (3) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager, Lands and Property, Department of Survey and Land Information, Wellington, declares the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in certificate of title 45D/699, subject to section 206 of the Land Act 1924 and transfers 625772.8 and B. 456021.1.

Land at Sockburn Acquired for Railway Purposes and Limited Access Road

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Regional Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for railway purposes and the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, for a limited access road which becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this declaration in the New Zealand Gazette.
