Pursuant to section 44A of the Public Finance Act 1989, as substituted by section 40 of the Public Finance Amendment Act 1994, the Health Sponsorship Council hereby gives notice that it has dispatched to the Minister of Health its annual report for the year ended 30 June 1995, containing its financial statements, audit report and statement of responsibility for the period and has with the consent of the Minister of Health published the annual report.

Casino Control Authority

Casino Control Act 1990

Notice of Extension of Period for Commencement of Operation of Casino Pursuant to North Island Initial Casino Premises Licence

Pursuant to section 26 (2) of the Casino Control Act 1990, the Casino Control Authority hereby extends until and including 24 March 1996 the date by which the operation of the casino authorised by the North Island Initial Casino Premises Licence granted on 21 January 1994* to Sky Tower Casino Limited (now known as Harrah’s Sky City Limited) shall, pursuant to section 26 (1) of the Act, commence, being satisfied that the delay is not substantially the fault of the holder of the premises licence.

*(As amended pursuant to the judgment in Auckland Casino Limited v. Casino Control Authority (M. 81/94, High Court, Auckland Registry, 13 July 1994, Robertson J)).
