District Court Judge Appointed

Pursuant to section 5 and section 28B of the District Courts Act 1947, Her Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Colin Maurice Nicholson, q.c.

to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise the criminal jurisdiction of the District Courts under Part 11A of the District Courts Act 1947.

Harbours Act 1950

Sale of Wanganui Harbour Land

Pursuant to Part IV of the Harbours Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Secretary of Transport, the General Manager Policy, having obtained pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Act, the concurrence of the Secretary to the Treasury under delegation from the Minister of Finance, hereby approves, pursuant to sections 143A (1) (a) and 143C (1) (b) (i) of the Act, the sale of land referred to in the Schedule below by The Wanganui District Council and specifies that this approval is effective from the date of this notice.

International Air Services Licensing Act 1947

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Mr Peter Keith Wakeman in order that the date by which Mr Wakeman must commence the services authorised by his licence be extended from 21 November 1995 to 21 February 1996.

This amendment will take effect from 8 December 1995.

Notice of Publication of Financial Statements of the Crown

Pursuant to section 31B of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance gives notice of the publication of the financial statements of the Crown for the 3 months ended 30 September 1995, on 3 November 1995.

The financial statements of the Crown for the year ended 30 June 1995 were laid before the House of Representatives on 28 September 1995.

Copies of these financial statements are available:
