Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an extension of an urupa for the common use and benefit of Ngati Pahauwera.

Declaring General Land to be Included in a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be included in the existing Maori reservation in respect of the land known as Part Owhata 1F2B which was set apart for the purpose of a place of historical interest, a recreational ground, meeting place and papakainga concept “Te Kuku O Te Manawa Reservation” for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Kataraina Heke in particular, Ngati Te Roro-o-Te-Rangi Hapu and such others as the trustees shall from time to time determine in general by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 192, page 4322 on the 26th day of November 1992.

Maori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Maori Development hereby gives notice as follows:

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Rotorua 1995, No. 13.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in relation only to the piece of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part II of the Maori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
