Setting Apart General Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court the general land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an urupa for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Polly Te Huira Riddell and to be known as the Harihari Urupa Site Maori Reserve.

Notice Redefining the Purposes of a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the purposes for which the Maori reservation in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto, was created by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 81, page 2538 of 11 August 1995, is hereby further redefined for the purposes of a meeting place, a papakāinga reserve, and a marae for the common use and benefit of the whanau of Frances Caroline Ratima or Frances Caroline Harmer. This papakāinga to be known as Te Whanau Whakatahi Iwi.
