Prohibition of the Prescribing of Medicines

Pursuant to section 48 (1) (a) of the Medicines Act 1981, I, Maurice Donald Williamson, Associate Minister of Health, on the recommendation of the Medical Council of New Zealand, hereby prohibit the prescribing of pentazocine and benzodiazepine and its derivatives by Paul Egermayer, medical practitioner of Christchurch.

Prohibition of the Prescribing of Controlled Drugs

Pursuant to section 23 (1) (a) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, I, Maurice Donald Williamson, Associate Minister of Health, on the recommendation of the Medical Council of New Zealand, hereby prohibit the prescribing of controlled drugs by Paul Egermayer, medical practitioner of Christchurch.

Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977

Permission to Conduct Within New Zealand a Lottery Conducted Outside New Zealand

Pursuant to section 69 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1977, I, Warren Cooper, Minister of Internal Affairs, hereby permit Athlete’s Foot Pty Limited, to conduct within New Zealand, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule to this notice, a lottery promoted outside New Zealand as a sales promotion scheme to promote the sales of Rockport shoes.

Conditions

The permission given by this notice is subject to the following conditions, namely:

(1) Athlete’s Foot Pty Limited will not conduct the lottery within New Zealand after 11 November 1995.

(2) The results of the lottery will be published in the Sunday Star Times on 28 November 1995.

(3) New Zealand winners shall not be subject to any disadvantage as a result of winning a prize. All freight, customs, handling and delivery charges and any insurance costs to cover theft or damage to prizes coming from outside New Zealand will be met by Athlete’s Foot Pty Limited.

(4) A New Zealand participant shall have a chance of winning which is equivalent to that of an overseas participant.
