Setting Apart Land Held for State Coal Mine Purposes as Crown Land

Pursuant to section 112 of the Coal Mines Act 1979, the Minister of Energy hereby declares the area described in the Schedule hereto, being land held for State Coal Mine purposes, to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Nelson Land District—Buller District

2415 hectares, more or less, being part of the land subject to Part II (State Coal Mines) of the Coal Mines Act 1908, situated in Blocks VIII, IX, XII and XIII, Ngakawau Survey District and shown as area “A” on Plan S.O. 15311.

Conservation Act 1987

Notification of Disposal of Conservation Land

Pursuant to section 26 of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Bay of Plenty Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the land formerly held for conservation purposes described in the Schedule hereto, has been disposed of to the Fell Family Trust of Murupara for the consideration of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) including G.S.T.

Reserves Act 1977

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Wanganui Conservancy, Department of Conservation, authorises the exchange of that part of the Siberia Scenic Reserve described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule.

All that piece of land containing 7.8493 hectares, being Section 2, S.O. Plan 36154.

Second Schedule

Wellington Land District

All that piece of land containing 14.6103 hectares, being Lot 1, D.P. 67639.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve, Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale May be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the plantation reserve described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Whakatane District Council by way of amalgamation into the titles of adjoining properties, at such price or other consideration and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, subject to any proceeds of sale being paid into the council’s reserves account, with such moneys to be used towards the improvement to or purchase of other land for public reserve.
