Classification and Naming of Maketu Wildlife Management Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as Government purpose (wildlife management) reserve, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, declares the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Maketu Wildlife Management Reserve.

Revocation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (drainage) reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Nelson City Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Acting Wanganui Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Palmerston North City Council on the 27th day of March 1995:

Resolved, pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, that the lands more particularly described in the First Schedule hereto, be hereafter held by the council as a recreation reserve under the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, and that each of the parcels of land described in the Second Schedule be hereafter held by the council as local purpose reserves (segregation) under the Reserves Act 1977.
