Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1A) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land in the West Coast Conservancy described in the Schedule hereto, declares that the land is held for conservation purposes and it shall hereafter be so held.

Schedule

Nelson Land District—Buller District

1618 square metres, more or less, being Sections 17 and 18, Town of Springs Junction, situated in Block III, Lewis Survey District.

Land Act 1948

Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Lands, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a scenic reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.
