Pursuant to section 16a of the Conservation Act 1987, and to a sub-delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, hereby authorises the exchange of the land held for conservation purposes described in the First Schedule hereto, for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification of Reserve and Vesting in The Clutha District Council

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a recreation reserve, and vests the said reserve in The Clutha District Council in trust for that purpose.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Clutha District Council on the 18th day of May 1995:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Clutha District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act."

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977 and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Department of Conservation, Otago Conservancy, hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a scientific reserve and further declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Tahakopa Peat Dome Scientific Reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and how the Proceeds of Sale shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Otago Conservancy, Department of Conservation, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by The Queenstown Lakes District Council, the proceeds from any sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
