Realignment of Road at Martins Bridge, Cave— Pareora Road

Pursuant to Part VIII of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Manager (Lands and Property), Department of Survey and Land Information, Christchurch, hereby—

(a) Pursuant to section 114 (1), declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto to be road and:

(i) The areas marked “A”, “B”, “L” and “K” shall vest in The Mackenzie District Council.

(ii) The areas marked “C”, “D” and “E” shall vest in Waimate District Council.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116, 117 and 120, declares the road described in the Second Schedule hereto to be stopped and that:

(i) The leasehold estate shall be amalgamated in lease in perpetuity No. 213/73.

(ii) The fee-simple estate shall be amalgamated with the land in certificate of title No. 35D/778.

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes—Ngatarawa Block, Hastings District

Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the District Solicitor, Department of Survey and Land Information, Napier, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule is acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes.
