International Air Services Licensing Act 1947

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Service Licence

Notice is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, to amend the terms of the International Air Service Licence issued to Ansett Transport Industries (Operations) Pty Limited, to:

(i) allow the operation of a DC8F aircraft on the airline’s cargo services between Australia and New Zealand; and

(ii) remove the requirement that another airline conducting the air services on behalf of the licensee hold a New Zealand International Air Service Licence.

This amendment will take effect on the 1st day of November 1994.

Pursuant to section 7 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Peter Keith Wakeman, of Christchurch, has applied for an international air service licence to permit him to operate a scheduled air service for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between New Zealand and points in Australia, Nadi, Bangkok and Seoul.

Notice of Proposed Vehicle Safety Standards Rules

The Land Transport Safety Authority (LTSA), in accordance with section 10 (1) (a) of the Land Transport Act 1993, hereby gives notice that it has published the drafts for public comment (“yellow” drafts) of vehicle safety standards rules 32001-32008 and 32010. These 9 draft rules focus primarily on increasing the safety of occupants in passenger cars.

These 9 draft rules are available for viewing at the LTSA’s 7 regional offices and public libraries countrywide. Copies have been sent to the registered interest groups, who have expressed an interest in the preliminary drafts.
