Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Notice Revoking Section of State Highway and Declaring New Section of State Highway—State Highway No. 88, Dunedin

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand gives notice that, with effect from the date of this notice, the State highway status of the bypassed section State highway described in the First Schedule hereto, is revoked and the new section of public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be a State highway, within the meaning and for the purposes of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.

First Schedule

All of that section of State Highway No. 88 (Stuart Street) between Cumberland Street and Anzac Avenue and all of that section of State Highway No. 88 from the intersection of Castle Street and Anzac Avenue for a distance of approximately 140 metres in a generally north-easterly direction along Anzac Avenue.

Second Schedule

All of that section of the un-named street between Castle Street (existing State Highway No. 1) and Anzac Avenue (existing State Highway No. 88) at a point 140 metres from the intersection of Castle Street and Anzac Avenue to join with the existing State Highway No. 88, and on Saint Andrew Street between Cumberland Street and Anzac Avenue.

Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, hereby jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes, and it shall thereafter be so held.

Schedule

Otago Land District—Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago District

4377.4200 hectares, more or less, being Sections 2, 5, 6 and 7, S.O. 23209, situated in Nevis Survey District, South Wakatipu Survey District, and Block V, Coneburn Survey District. Document 842058 (all). Subject to a lease over part under section 67 (2) of the Land Act 1948 to Murray William Scott for a term of 33 years from 1 July 1992.

4996.0 hectares, more or less, being Section 10, Block V, Coneburn Survey District.
