Conservation Act 1987

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Pursuant to section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation and the Minister of Lands, being the Minister responsible for the Department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, declare that the land is held for conservation purposes subject to the Conservation Act 1987, and it shall hereafter be so held.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration that Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by The Tauranga District Council on the 22nd day of February 1994:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, The Tauranga District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be an historic reserve within the meaning of the said Act".

Monmouth Redoubt Historic Reserve

2419 square metres, more or less, being Section 1, S.O. Plan 59188, situated in Block X, Tauranga Survey District. All certificate of title C.T. 51B/17. Recorded on N.Z.M.S. 261 U14, Tauranga, Townsheets 40.18 and 40.19.

Classification of Reserves

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby classifies the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, as scenic reserves, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act.
