Definition of Sea Areas B1

All sea areas within:

  • 56 nm radius of We AUTAS, Auckland, or
  • 80 nm radius of Te Aroha, in the Bay of Plenty only.
  • 58 nm radius of Mt Erin, Hawke Bay
  • 57 nm radius of Kau Kau, Wellington, or
  • 67 nm radius of Kahikaera, Marlborough Sounds,
    and between 174E and 175E30
  • 70 nm radius of Mt Pearce, Banks Peninsula
  • 38 nm radius of Hautai Hill, Dunedin.
  • 69 nm radius of Hedgehope, Southland,
    and west of 169E10.

The Sea Area B3 is the area that is within coverage of Taupo Maritime Radio, on 2182, 4125, 6215, 8291, 12290 and 16420 kHz.
