Land in Otorohanga District Set Apart and Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes

Pursuant to sections 52 and 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant District Manager of the Department of Survey and Land Information, Hamilton.

(a) Declares the land described in the First Schedule hereto, to be set apart for soil conservation and river control purposes and to remain vested in The Otorohanga District Council.

(b) Declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in The Otorohanga District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
