Whangarei Fire Districts Notice 1994

Pursuant to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

N o t i c e

1. This notice may be cited as the Whangarei Fire Districts Notice 1994.

2. This notice shall come into force on the 12th day of August 1994.

3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous Fire District Notices for the Fire Districts listed in the Schedule.

Constitution of Fire Districts

• 4. The Urban areas of the city and towns listed in the Schedule are hereby constituted into Fire Districts.

5. The boundaries of the constituted Fire Districts listed in the Schedule are defined and delineated on plans held at the National Headquarters of the New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Kiwifruit Marketing Regulations 1977

New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board

1. Election of two producer members.

An election is to be held pursuant to the Kiwifruit Marketing Regulations 1977 to elect two producer members to the New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board for a term expiring on 31 October 1997. Polling will close at noon on 28 October 1994.

The electoral roll of producers will be available for inspection during normal office hours from Friday, 5 August 1994 to Friday, 12 August 1994 at the following places: Agriculture New Zealand Limited office in Levin; Fruittfed Supplies Limited in Gisborne; New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board offices in Kerikeri, Auckland, Mount Maunganui, Hastings, Nelson; and the New Zealand Fruitgrowers’ Federation in Wellington.

No amendments can be made to the roll after Friday, 12 August 1994.

2. Nominations of Candidates.

Nominations open on Friday, 19 August 1994 and close at noon Friday, 2 September 1994. Please send nominations to the Returning Officer, New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board, P.O. Box 9906, Auckland (nomination forms will be available from all New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board offices from 19 August 1994).

The regulations require that all nominees:

(a) Have their name on the electoral roll;

(b) Are nominated in writing by two or more producers who appear on the roll as producers of at least 5000 export trays each in the 1993 season;

(c) Accept nomination in writing;

(d) Pay to the Returning Officer an amount of $112.50 ($100.00 plus $12.50 G.S.T).

Privacy Act Code of Practice Notice 1994/4

Pursuant to section 49 of the Privacy Act 1993, I give notice as follows:

N o t i c e

1. This notice may be cited as the Privacy Act Code of Practice Notice 1994/3.

2. The Health information Privacy Code 1994 Amendment No.1 (Temporary):

(a) was issued on 12 July 1994;

(b) will come into force on 30 July 1994; and

(c) will expire on 29 July 1995.\n
3. Having considered that it is necessary to issue the amendment, and being satisfied that it would be impracticable to follow the procedures set out in section 48 of the Act because it is necessary to issue the amendment urgently, I have issued the amendment without complying with those procedures in reliance on section 52 (1) of the Act.

4. Copies of the amendment are available free of charge from the offices of the Privacy Commissioner, 20 Waterloo Quadrant, Auckland and 44–52 The Terrace, Wellington.
